In this article, we will go through the steps of setting up WireGuard® on a wireless TP-Link router.
You will need a TP-Link WireGuard® compatible router alongside an active Surfshark subscription, which you can purchase on our pricing page.

Follow the steps below to set up a Surfshark WireGuard® on your wireless TP-Link router:

Log in to your account on the Surfshark website:

Tap on products and then select VPN:

Tap on manual setup:

Click on router:
-
Select WireGuard:

Click on I don't have a key pair:

Proceed to type in a name of your choice and tap next:

Click on generate a new key pair:

Tap on choose a location:

Select your desired server, tap on it, and press the download button:
- Log in to the web-based interface of the router.

Turn to advance, select VPN Client, and enable the option VPN Client:

In the server List section below, there is an add option in the upper right corner. Click on it and select set up manually:

Select WireGuard, fill in the description, and import the .conf file you obtained from Surfshark:
Ensuring the connection is successful
